Yay for Non-Douchebag Heroes!
I really hate putting it in terms like that, but there are plenty of romance books that have men whose actions wouldn't have me categorize them as heroes. Yes, I know, my opinion only.. but I like seeing men who treat women with respect instead of dictating to them. *shrug*
There are plenty of flaws in this book too. The hero dithers about and is afraid of his feelings, but at his core - he loves the heroine, and treats her with respect even as he's been hurt by her past actions. WIN.
